I get a dozen emails each week asking to see the Morrison TV pilot, so...
FOX television aired my pilot for "24 Hours In Hell" last year in many major markets. The show focused on me spending 24 hours in Jim Morrison's former motel room on the 35th anniversary of his death. Room #32 at the Alta Cienega Motel in West Hollywood is said to be haunted by Jim's ghost. I basically destroyed the ghost with sheer courage and steel balls. Watch the 3 promo clips below:
In the clip of Jim Morrison's ghost on thedoors.com you say that it was a stranger that took the picture of you next to Jim's grave but on your website you say it was Tom Petty, and also the picture isn't perfectly looking at you like as if you set it up so u could do something like this with the photo. I'm hoping you respond with some kind of explanation.
Are you serious about Scientology or not? Maybe you’re just poking fun at it, eh?
I noticed you link to it on your message board. Are you in fact a Scientologist? If
so how long have you been? You can email me back or post your answer to your site,
just don’t publish my name or email. Thanks in advance.
I'm 35 & live in Portland Oregon, grew up in Long Beach California for 26
yrs before I moved here. I have played music since I was 8, drums, then,
bass, vocals, harmonica, piano, one of those assholes who can do everything.
I hate to say it but I disagree with your take on the 80's Punk Bands, where
are you from Cleveland? That's cool, but you should have heard of a band
like "X" or "the Minutemen" or how about 'Bad Religion"? Not like these are
my all time favorite bands, but no way can you lump them in with the bands
you think suck...sure the Germs were sloppy fags, so were the Pistols,
that's exactly what gave them charisma. Sorry you missed the So Cal
experience, even at 13 I knew there was alot more to that music then you let
on in your last attempt to answer a simple question.
good luck to you. & actually I do enjoy this web page and some of the things
you have to offer.
Pardon my asking, Brett, but you claim to have toured with "Spartacus", your high school band and claim that you were "treated like royalty". You also provide a list of what you claim are the "backstage demands" of your band. This list spans two pages, and you assure us that Spartacus was a "top line" rock and roll band and was treated like, if not better than, bands such as the Rolling Stones and Guns 'n Roses. However, you
also claim that you lost your hearing in your left ear and sustained other injuries after being struck by a truck while collecting for your paper route… Why would a leading member of a "top-line" rock and roll band have a paper route? I would enjoy hearing
your explanation for this. Thank you for your guidance and inspiration.
I heard about the photos of Jim Morrison’s ghost on the Jeff Rense radio show. I checked them out for myself and was quite blown away. Have you had the photo analyzed by any ghost experts? Are there any updates or new information? Thanks. (Wayne R., 42, Portland, OR)
First of all, thanks for having a great site that's loaded with tons of great info. It's nice
to know that someone with your credentials & experience is willing to answer questions pass
on tips. Thanks for your time. I'm a manager currently representing an alternative rock band.
They recently auditioned for a major label and almost landed a deal; however, they were
ultimately turned down. However this band has what it takes to go BIG - they're talented,
have a unique nirvana-like sound and are all under 30. Here is my question Brett. When I
promote the band, would you recommend that I actually sell them as an alternative rock
band with a unique nirvana-like sound or a whole different angle? also would u recommend
any great music biz books for a young manager like me to read? Again thank you for taking
the time from your busy schedule to answer our questions.
Brett, I dig your site! Your taste in music seems to be
somewhat dated more toward bands from the seventies. Since we're the same about the same
age I know that you have to remember the Punk days of the eighties. You never mention punk other than the Ramones. Do you have any opinions on Punk bands?
